I have a question, maybe I'm just asking myself, or maybe it a rhetorical question....

Does anyone ever read this blog?

My counter rarely changes, I never get comments. I feel like I'm writing to nothingness. This might as well be the journal that I keep in my nightstand because no one ever reads it, except for myself when I proofread.

If there is anyone out there???

I guess I'm reminded of Pink Floyd..."Helloooo. Is there anybody out there?..."

If on the random chance that people read this, what can I do to make it better? Anyone want to swap links? Maybe that would be a start......... i dunno:(

I just watched Jay Leno. OAR WAS ON as the musical guest. I saw them in concert earlier this summer. They're great. www.ofarevolution.com. You gotta check out their song called "That was a crazy game of poker". Wow. I just love oar:) I've liked them for like 4 years now. I'm so glad I finally saw them in concert and that they are finally making it by making their TV debut tonight!!! They have good, uplifting, dave-matthews-esque music. Dave is good, but I think Oar is a little more hippie-ish, and less mainstream. But Yay for them being on TV!!!

Surprise Surprise!

Ok, so when you order lots of things from me, you get a special treat. The person who ordered 12 of my bears, will be getting a treat... but shh. I cant say yet. She might be looking at it! She will find out next week, and so will you!

Tomorrow I'm going to spend the day with family. I made a blanket for a cousin who is going away to college. She loves it! It is this pattern from lionbrand using Homespun in the color Baroque. It was really an easy and quick pattern. At first I didnt like it. It just looked funny to me-nothing like the picture. Then, I started going and got the hang of it, and started to like how it was turning out. It came out so nice! I wish I got a picture before I gave it away.

My next project is going to be this pattern. I don't think I'm going to use the Lionbrand yarn. I'm probably going to find something cheap at walmart. Since it uses three strands held together, I think I'm going to try to find colors that coordinate with my room. Like pinks and purples and greens. But I probably wont start it until the weather gets colder. It was too hard to work on the afghan for my cousin when it was 95 degrees out!

They have LOTS AND LOTS of graphic T's that aren't walking advertisements for the store you bought them in! I can't wait to go back and buy more stuff! Brand Spankin' New!

Ok, so I caved and made a blog.. :-\ I don't know how I feel about that. I guess it's not so bad because just about everyone in the world has one. Kind of weird tho to have people just anonymously post their lives and others enjoy reading it. I guess its the voyeurism in us all. Or perhaps it's a way for readers to see that other people are just as quirky, and that all our oddities make us normal.

So this blog is going to be my ramblings and it's also going to be a place for me to highlight my crafts and my employment status. I'm currently living with my parents, broke, and searching for a job (so far it's been pretty weak). I started crafting so I could keep myself occupied while I was miserable job hunting.
